This section focuses on the multinational companies employing 1000 persons within the European Economic Area (EEA) as a whole, and 150 or more employees in each of at least two member states.
The companies are listed alphabetically and the records show the sector of activity and EWC status of the company.
When you click Search a company you can also filter companies that have their headquarters in a specific country.

Some of those multinational companies have installed EWCs at division level. Therefore the total number of active European Works Councils is bigger than the number of Multinational companies that have an EWC. Click here to view an example of a company with more than one EWC Body.
