Jurisprudence

The Jurisprudence section aims at presenting information about court cases and other forms of litigation involving EWCs or referring to EWCs' rights to information and consultation. It represents a result of a two years research project by ETUI, involving national experts, members of the NETLEX network and ETUI Transnational Trade Union Rights Group.
The section is divided into two parts: a) EU level jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice and b) national case law. Each part comprises a list of court cases with accompanying documents such as original decisions of courts, topical articles and news (press releases by EIFs, EWCs and news by PlanetLabor).
Below you will find general background information on EWC related litigation, including:
- Overview tables of court cases and issues involved;
- Overview tables of provisions in national transposition acts regarding EWCs' access to justice (forthcoming);
- Relevant background documents of general nature link
ETUI is dedicated to keeping this section and the list of court cases up to date. If you find any information or documents missing, or identify any wrong information please contact Romuald Jagodziński ().
