The EWC has 4 European (sub-)committees for Airbus, Astrium, Eurocopter and Defence and Security. They are in fact divisional EWCs (see art. 11) see also the European Committee Airbus. According to the letter of intent of 2007 the EWC shall become gradually a WWC.
